So far so good..

Simple to use and seems to work well. You only get 15 minutes per day unless you upgrade, which I just did for $8.95. Not yet sure what that buys me, but so far so good!

This ap is useful. I employ it as a narrator for various fetish stories (spanking, femdom, etc). It works wonderfully in that capacity. The only reason i didnt give it more stars is due to the PRICE! expensive...

Potential, Maybe?

For me this app was not usable. When ever I downloaded a text file that file text would be altered. The transfer would not recognize quote marks and would instead interpret them into something else. Instead of reading through quote marks it would say "I circumspect" or at least thats what it sounded like it was saying. This issue obviously made this app unusable for me. The other issue I had with this app was that in an attempt to get you to purchase the full version, it limits you to such a degree that you have no idea if the purchase version is any good or not. The reading voice is okay and if it is slowed down very far, it is much more tolerable. But I cant tell whether there are many options on the paid version to improve the voice. The free version limits the amount of time you can use it in the day. At the time of my download of the free version that limit was 15 minutes. In my mind it would make more sense if it was limited to 15 minutes but gave you full access to the options of the program so you can decide if it is worth the purchase price.

Why even dudes...

Why even download this app? I would if there wasnt a time limit to how long you can listen to a bunch of text that u can just as easily read yourself or use Seri to read it to you. Seri doesnt care how long you have her read to you, but apparently these app creators are just that desperate to make ends meet. im deleting this now. Thanks for reading ;) -KrossKaos

Nothing innovative about it, aside from its simplicity to use

As the title suggests, there are several applications out there that are very similar if almost not the same as this one, and a few of them are free much unlike this app which only allows you 10 minutes of free use before asking you to upgrade in order to keep using it at a total of $9.99. Its rather steep for a very common application, yet the only thing that sold me on it was its ability to outdo the rest by making it just as efficient, if not more than the others, and on top of it all, making it much more simpler and easier to use. With that being said, dont be expecting anything that you have not seen before or something of which you are not willing to fork out $10 for when you can get very similar applications for free. However, if youre like me and you cannot stand having to read something or are a multitasker and like to have it going in the background while youre doing something else, then its worth its money.

Such a time saver!

As a busy mom, this app is such a time saver. I can listen to things I want to read, but dont have time to.

Was good at first

I loved this when I first had it but it suuucked at importing text, and sometimes just reading nothing or just saying one letter and stopping! It would insert all sorts of garbage and sometimes even imported quotations as something else. I paid for this and regret it with much better ones out there.

Good pronunciation, limited input

This all seems to get 5* or 1*. The latter generally because of price. That aside, it is the best text to voice Ive found because the pronunciation and cadence was the best and generally intelligible. The app doesnt read PDF, e-book, or URL formats which is a limitation but Ive come up with a good workflow to copy PDF/site to text and copy that to Dropbox so what seemed initially a major drawback is simple enough to be worthwhile.

iOS 9 problem

I use the speaking option on my iPad quite regularly to listen to books and other items I need to read that are lengthy, since the iOS nine update, which I think is great because Apple really tries hard to keep things secure an up-to-date, theres just a problem with the speed of the voice, and I cant slow it down its on high speed all the time. So in looking for an alternative way to listen to things I have to listen to, this app with cut-and-paste has help me to do that while the problem with iOS nine is getting worked out. I have to underline or highlight the answers to many questions in articles I read and cannot do that with this app but is still very helpful at this crucial time, great app!

its good.

Reads well, but adds words with my punctuation marks. What is a "circumflex" anyway?

Love it!

Best text to speech app on the market. There is none with as clear a voice or simple in its operation.

Great App!

This is a great app for studying, type your info using Word, then copy and paste it to Text file witch is the Note Pad document.

Good enough

I use this app a lot. However its missing some obvious features like auto play, auto play of next item, etc.

Worth the investment

Time is our most important asset, and this is definitely a helpful time saver. Maybe not the biggest game changer ever in my productivity but reads clearly and takes any type of text.

Costs too much, but works well

Most text readers do what this charges fifteen bucks for and does it for free. But as apps go this works pretty well

Not even close to being worth money

When you compare this app to voice dream reader its no match up at all. Do not waste any money on this app just go purchase voice dream reader instead.
